Can't Escape!

I swear I saw him spouting bullshit on T. V,

even without turning it on, someone help me!

The sad truth is, over and over, the monster dominates,

for King of the World, he self-nominates.

He says 'jump,' and the media says, 'how high?'

The word 'normal,' or the rules to him don't apply.

All he has to do is claim 'fake news,'

and he can say vile about anyone he'd choose,

and The Kool-Aid Delusion Brigade will buy

even the most ludicrous, the most absurd lie

he spouts from those behind-lips attached to his face.

He's not a President, he's a global disgrace.

A constitutional crises is coming, if not already here.
I've lost a lot of faith in us, well, shit oh dear!

While America Slept

Towards the falls in a barrel made of treason,

we float down stream on the River Of Reason.

Bobbing like a cork, at the mercy of the current.

You'll got what you wanted, somebody different,

not a political insider, a candidate outside the norm.

A candidate who'll unleash a veritable shit-storm,

all to glorify himself, and denigrate the U. S.

a wanna-be-king sitting of a throne of rubble, yes,

we've never seen anyone remotely like this traitor,

a wolf in the hen house, determined to lock the door.

An unchallenged coup while America slept,

and some of us screamed, and lady liberty wept.
