"Hi dad! I got a trophy in school today! Yoo hoo!" David said, opening the front door to let his father in, hardly able to hide his happiness and joy. This is what you expect from a 10 year old kid, who had won the relay race that was part of the sports day activities in school.
Our family, as we know it, plays an important role in our lives, helping us to achieve the best in our lives. There are a lot of things we can link directly to our childhood, which are the results of our family teaching and ideology.
A child, if brought up in a prestigious and rich family, generally has access to good education and training,  which in turn help him achieve useful skills and good manners. He is aware of the importance of healthy food, clean water and exercise. He can be an asset to the society and humans in general.
In many families, the husband or the father is the sole breadwinner, and he has the responsibility of taking care of the children's expenses, and generally has a major say in the decisions of the household. A good father is a person who can be considered as a leader of the household,  and can keep the family happy and content,  taking their needs seriously, and trying his best to shield his family from the outside world's bad effects.
An equally important member of the family is the wife or the mother, who is responsible for keeping the house organised and beautiful,  take care of the children and teach them to be good human beings. She is the one who has the privilege of paradise being under her feet, meaning that we should try our best to satisfy our mothers' needs, and keep her happy.
Our brothers and sisters are no less, and they too are a very good blessing for us. There is no one close enough to substitute the love and care we can receive from them. They may be the ones we fight with on almost a daily basis, on petty and small issues, which are solved in a few minutes, or within a few days; but we can't deny the fact that they are the ones we can rely on, to help us in any situation and problem we face in our lives.
Peace and joy in life shall be incomplete and dull without a family one can rely on to express his or her concerns and share the moments of joy and pleasure. So, we should thank God for having blessed all of us with a wonderful and unique family.
