My school hallway smells like a McDonald’s playground. that fat boy who everybody goes to school with, laughed. A drop of sweat fell, like in the movies when a water droplet falls and they zoom x400 in slo-mo. It almost hits an ant and wouldn’t that have been the nastiest death ever? Backpacks smell like dirt because dumb kids forgot about them in their boy’s only clubhouses. Crayons of all colors that smell like the blue cheese on your Mom’s wedge salad. Immature boys peel glue off their fingers pretending it’s skin. The smell of a stale peppermint gum glob that someone who probably has gotten nowhere in life placed right where you would touch it. And the synthetic basic smell of jasmine coming from the plump teacher with the long acrylics.
