She looks in the mirror one last time, just to make sure her makeup, body, outfit is ok. She makes the decision that it looks perfect... But on the inside she knows she's not. She looks at her face in the mirror and wondered where he went, where did he run off to? But she couldn't think about it too much because they were announcing her name. She turns her back to the mirror and and starts to strut towards the stage in her stilettos. Even though her feet hurt and the rest of her body aches in agony, she still has to go, she has to dance for those men, she has to do the tricks on that pole that create bruises and rubbed of skin. She has to smile a seductive smile even though all she wants to do was cry. Everyone loved her and this is the only way she could be accepted and no way else... So she opened the curtains. The loud music blaring, And the strob lights flashing. Everybody cheers, but she just wants silence. She wants to silence the pain of her past and present and she wants to cover her body with a t-shirt and jeans... But instead she only covers up the parts where she gets her self confidence the most. Time goes by. All of a sudden the music stops and she is confused about where it went but she felt peace. Maybe the sound station was down and she could go home. But instead music starts to play again... But it's a familiar song.. A slow love song she hasn't listend to In years... The one she showed the love of her life. Immediately she bursts into tears and the audience of perverted men are confused. She starts to dart her head in every direction because she knew he was there! She knew it! And he was, he made his way to the front of the stage. For one second they stared at each other. But he only looked at her face, not her body, with the kind smile she remembered. She runs to him, and wraps her arms around him as tight as she could he doesn't reach for her butt or breasts. He just embraces her as she cries... At that moment every thing was peace.
