I’ve got a head full of darkness and darkness is good

Because within that darkness lies a beauty to un-hood.

We’ve all got our demons that rustle our feathers

But have we ever stopped to think how they may benefit us?

Not to manipulate or teach us bad ways

But to influence our knowledge and grow in new ways.

Which direction to choose, we don’t know

Follow the flood of emotions barreling through the woods.

There’s something in this life that’s killing me

There’s something in this life that’s showing me

The way to be, the way to go, the way to grow

Like the vine on the fence that won’t quit,

Like the soldier in the army who grits

Her teeth to push onward.

I’ve got a head full of darkness, and darkness is good

Because Life keeps us moving.

And the streets are filled with demons, that will never change

But we can ignore their advances

And live a life full of ambitions.

We can dance through the darkness at night,

Waltz with the devil in the ballroom alright

There’s something for each out there in this life.
