My Trip to the Peak and Lake District 2015:

This is my memoir about my trip to the Peak and Lake District that I did 2015. My mum had organised this trip as she had been there before and wanted to show my dad as she knew he would really enjoy it and he did.
Mum had booked a family room in the Buckingham B&B as the car journey would be around five hours plus so she did this so dad could have a rest before resuming his journey to the Lake District. We went into the local park and watched the wildlife and walked around the area.
The next day we went to the local park and had some hot beverages and food before travelling to the Lake District. We reached the Lake District around 3pm and to our B&B we would be staying at which was called Walmar.
It was such a fun few days as we visited Chatsworth House which belonged to the Duke and Duchess of Devonshire, Hampton Castle, the World of Beatrix Potter Attraction, Beatrix Potter’s Hill Top and Gallery. We went on a mini bus of two tours. The high adventure and the ten lakes which was organised through Mountain Goat which was a tourist company. As well as that we did a Windermere Lake Cruise, and we were driven there by an old milk shuttle to transport members of the public instead of milk. I really did enjoy it especially the cruise as you could get on and off at different areas where we saw the Lakeland Moor Museum, the Lake Aquarium, and went on a steam train from Haverthwaite to the Lake District. All the Island Cruises would come and go every half an hour.
I would definitely recommend going to the Peak and Lake District as it is a fascinating place and the views are just out of this world. I really hope to go back there again one day if I get the chance we’ll have to wait and see!
