//Begin Thought// There was a time in her life where every night she would step outside, plant her knees on the ground, and look up at the stars. With each shifting speck of light her anxious breaths began to settle. Her mind stopped wandering, and became fixated on the sky above her. To find her bearings she would try to count them, she would try to name them. She loved the stars, She loved the moon as well but there always came a time he didn’t appear. But the stars, they were always there; talking, breathing, listening. She could count on them, she could breath with them. Telling them her secrets, without worry. She could exist without being questioned or being begged to give answers that she did not possess. She would spend those cold nights collapsed on the ground thinking about how much she envied the stars. You see, stars exist independent to all other entities in the universe, and they reach their full potential in the darkness. She wanted that. She needed that, that independence to be who she really was, the courage to meet her true potential in her darkest moments. //End Thought//
