In reality, I just wanted to see how long i could keep a thought flowing. It came out to be a short poem about keeping ones own potential and overall virtues locked up inside instead of embracing
and trying to build up your own character and qualities.

There is a star,

I hold the star in my heart.

Locked between sinew and soul.

Its light, my flesh would anul.

Its prison, my thoughts would uphold.

"I'll keep you tucked away little star.

I'll keep you where your splendor is marred,

becuase that light can shine through my scars,

and we dont want that now do we?

No, we dont want that now, truly"

Why do i hide this little star?

The answer, I dont know my self.

It's kept at the top of the self,

out of sight, out of reach.

Away from light, keep it there, i do beseech.

It's my greatest trasure, of which i dont know its worth.

Light without measure, it could illuminate this earth,

but ill keep you in the dark, little star, little sun.

As far as i know, its me who's won,

but what is it that I win?

From what do I benefit, to keep you within?

You're the little star,

the little star in my heart.

I keep your light snuffed and it tears me apart.

An elaborate prison I've built, I'd say it is art.

You can try to escape, but it's perfect to a T.

Not one bit of you will I let people see.

Why? I dont know, stop asking me.

I have no idea why I hide the better part of me,

and that, precious little star.

That is exactly what you are.

You're the peice that makes me whole, makes me complete.

But im like a man that acts deaf and blind,

though he has ears that hear and eyes that see.

Please little star, little star in my heart.

Break free from your shackles, bend the bars apart.

I pray that you suceed, that you make it far.

But it's really up to me thats the hard part.

How can i try so hard to suppress you?

How can i fight so hard to oppress you?

Then hope and pray you find success?

Enigmatic as it may be,

please little star, break out, for me.

God help me....
