Pointless

...

...

...

What more am I to say?

Pointless.

Prophetic spinsters

no more

no less.

How do I know, you ask?

What am I?

A damned deity doomed to drunkenness

That or dead-brained psychotic indulgence in blood orgies.

The others no better.

Human business isn’t mine, though they can’t help but plot.

Don’t pray

Don’t feed them

Let them wither

Let me sleep!

Is this a warning or a plea for help?

I don’t know

I just want to sleep.

But with a myriad of mental misomaniacs

Squabbling over souls.

There is only one I’ll ever worship, only one from an infinite.

An ashen-skinned reaper

First of her kind

A pair we make.

But we’re no good

All part of that wrong.

A cog

Forever turning

Grinding

Churning.

Just forget.

We don’t exist

Just let me sleep.
