They Told Me To Stay Away

She was bad news, but I was just looking for a crazy headline.
Not a reporter, but I just had to catch myself a heavy case.
From the way that you moved, I could tell I was just going to end up loving the taste.

There was a certain aura, one that I just couldn't find myself from letting go.
Have you ever smelled her hair and it was like getting lost in the most delicious scent.
Has she ever pulled you into her gaze, and you just didn't want to ever look away from those eyes.

They told me to stay away, but if I have to be crazy for love, then I'm just about to make this world our asylum.
We're trapped in this block, but once we break free we can finally be everything that we always wanted to be.
If I could just find a way to take you to this beautiful place and moment with me.

Playing with a key that you gave me, I know that those times are gone and so I grab the bottle with misery.
Can't get the way I feel about you still out of me, it's just not that easy to forget how much I loved you.
I thought we said that we would always be friends forever, that when I had this key, you were always here with me.
