About the Grave That I Dug

Six feet down,

That’s where my self worth lies.

As cold hands,

Run up and down my thighs,

One night stands,

Open-ended goodbyes,

His cold hands,

That’s where my self worth lies.

Insecurities offer up my body,

As a sacrifice.

And each taker that says they want to know me,

I’ll never see twice.

And he probably thinks that I’m free because,

He don’t pay the price,

Of a prisoner who gave her body up,

As a sacrifice.
