One of the many chances, but with that person it might be the only. So why not have fun anyways?

Breaking the table, I don't know if I'll hit stripes or solids.
Throw the dart, I don't know if I'll get a bullseye or not.
Just know that if I get to play the game with you, at least I got a shot.

If it doesn't work out, then you don't have to play again.
Maybe I'll be much better at bowling, but of that we don't gotta pretend.
I can't fall in love with someone, if I can't spend a moment enjoying life has a friend.

We're playing these games, but I don't ever want to play games with your heart.
I've seen what happens to people, and I don't ever want to see that sorrow by my hand.
Before there was things that didn't make sense, but now I start to understand.

Perphaps I won't hit the 8 ball, perphaps I'll win and just walk away.
If I can't do all these things to make you happy, then you shouldn't stay.
it all started out with me asking if you wanted to play.
