Shell shocked chaos in a civil war tomb.

Sneaking through the shadows like a rat in the room.

Reach outside and another one dies.

Suckers like you, the apple of my eye.

War rages on, burning down the truth:

Negotiations gone bad, my soldiers pay their dues.

Elite encounters with a specter of doom.

Escaping a world too dark to find you.

Stole a glance in the ally of stones.

Heroes like you, never get to go home.

War rages on the valley of the used.

Bodies pile up in the name of the few.

Battle breached sector infected by rage.

Following your orders like a drone in the maze.

Tactics didn’t train you to think for yourself.

They brainwashed you to doubt everyone else.

War rages on in the name of the free,

But you’re there to feed my greed.

Survival didn’t teach you to fall from grace

Pumped full of reason, the poison of the brave.

Shell shocked chaos in a civil war tomb.

Sneaking through the shadows like I’ve trained you to do.
