Your kiss is so sugary sweet, just like a honeycomb,

Bees buzzing all around you, cause you wore yellow and black.

A dandelion in your ear, a sunflower safe in your grasp,

The epitome of summer, coloring in the monochrome world.

The wind scatters your beach sand hair, covering up your face,

Right as I was taking a photo for you, to post on your instagram.

You’ll probably hate it, cause they can’t see your emerald eyes

And your beautiful face, but I swear it’ll go viral in the cyberspace.

In my eyes, you’re a supermodel, and I’m the paparazzi,

Always right behind you, with my phone out, to get a shot of you.

A flowerbed blooms, all across your summer dress, that’s been

Hiding in the closet all winter, I know you’ve been dying to wear it.

A wide brimmed hat, hides your face from the burning summer sun,

There’s a couple clouds, loitering around in the atmosphere.

You fill the void inside of this hollow heart, my dear,

I’ve never loved anyone like the way, that I love you.

Not even da Vinci or van Gogh, could create something so perfect,

From your hair, to your eyes, to your smile, to your tattoo sleeve.

I’m a sunflower, needing to bask in your light, akin to photosynthesis,

I know, now that I want to die with you, I never want to leave.

Your kiss is so sugary sweet, just like a honeycomb,

Bees buzzing all around you, cause you wore yellow and black.

A dandelion in your ear, a sunflower safe in your grasp,

The epitome of summer, coloring in the monochrome world.
