A window blocks the ghost.

That broken man behind the glass.

Invisible to others,

He roams the asylum.

Silent as the blank walls

His screamer’s smile hardens.

And sunken eyes

Agape below his fingers

Fuels his brain;

A tyrant of wrongs

That feasts on the child’s plea.

Haste! Haste!

Beg the night to crack.

Return the sun.

Banish the demon.

The scriptures of old

Sing the tolls of times

Gone from the world.

Yet inside three little girls

Lie the records of sorrows.

Traumas.

Scars.

No ear hears.

No mouth speaks.

No mind admits.

Anguish forgiven by two,

Forgotten by none.

Haste! Haste!

Shatter the chains.

Reach that light.

Free to fly,

At last.

A window blocks the ghost.

That broken man behind the glass.
