Smokey clouds haze

my vision.

My mind is one fire.

The flames burn

as they glisten,

and I catch

a single sweet taste

of deep desire.

Longing seeps

through my pores.

A hunger races

through my veins.

My brain is ablaze,

engulfed in fire.

Drenched toes to nose

it perspires,

with a certain glaze.

I stand true

looking head on

towards your

starving gaze.

Without a feeling

of semblance,

or resemblance,

we clearly feel

the same;

Knowing not

the silly word

people know

as shame.
