I love this poem so much, it inspires me to be myself, even though I have flaws.

ust because I don't have perfect hair, or eyes, or skin doesn't mean I'm not beautiful.

I have scars, and each scar tells a different story. They are little reminders of what I've fought, and gotten through, They are reminders of the times I didn't want to live, but did.

They are reminders of the wars that I've fought with myself, and won. They are reminders of the fears that I've conquered. They are reminders that say it is okay to not have perfect hair, or eyes, or skin.

It doesn't mean I'm not beautiful,

My scars are reminders that true beauty, does in fact, lie within.

My scars are reminders that it's okay.

Because my beauty is on the inside, and I think I'm alright with that.
