No matter how much work I do, there will always be more judgement to haunt it.

They Will Judge.

As soon as I put my work out there,

They will have somethings to say.

They will look down upon my blood and sweat,

And thoroughly ruin it.

They will make it their duty to dissect it,

Tear it apart,

Leave it but shards of its former self.

They will leave no word unlooked.

No sentence unread.

No paragraph not thought about.

No opinions,

Left unspoken.

I will have to endure it all.

Stand against all that they throw at me.

Whether it be good,

Or terribly bad.

I must stay my ground no matter.

I must be tall and proud of what I have.

Even if others don’t think so.

The hardest part,

Is making a choice.

Is what they say valid?

Or is it just different thoughts?

Should I accept their words into my lifestyle,

Or shrug it off?

How much of me is willing to accept,

And willing to resist?

How much can I withstand,

Before I break?

Crushed under the thousand pound weight,

That is their judgement.

Their knowledge,

Against mine.

Who’s gonna win?

Me,

Or them?

I’m not sure I’m ready for the answer.

I do this,

Because I wish to become better.

To master the art that I’ve chosen in my life.

I have to face the facts.

Fact that,

To become more you have to shrink,

And then grow.

You have to let others bash you and what you do.

Let them enter your worst fears and play around.

And accept it.

Then, once all is said and done.

You have the ability to become something,

More.

More than you were before.

Use the pain to grow stronger,

Stronger than you ever could before.

Do I believe this?

Am I able to understand these terms,

And walk with them?

Walk,

Into the light of the judges,

And see how they see?

Or avoid my eyes altogether from theirs?

Only time will tell.

When they judge me.
