Whispering willows sing songs of what has been
what will be
and what is to come.
They can predict:
a flower bloms, another wilts,
rebirth and death,
a cycle of beauty;
what comes also must go,
and what goes is replaced.
Nature is set up so that we may never be
famished
so that we may never be without,
and yet we are.
We see fit to tear apart what we have
to ravage a land
not given to us
but that lives for us
and us for it.

Beautiful poem. I absolutely love it! Its thoughtful, deep, and very well written. The last five lines had me so deep in my feelings. Would you mind reviewing one of mine?
