"Man in the Moon"

Hello Moon, my old friend,

I come to stare at you again.

I ponder and wonder, just like Edgar Allan Poe:

'Aren't thou lonely in the sky, with only the stars to keep you by?'

"Aren't thou left as the alone,  white candle of the night?'

Your silence amuses me and puzzles me so!

Why don't you answer me, you sullen mime?

No need to convey with your glistening brightness, I need your comforting words, to sooth this inner distress!

I shall send out an SOS to your moon madness, to let thou know I'm coming for thee, with a raven as our witness for this midsummer's night!

I'm building myself a ladder, where my hands shall touch thee, so that I'll forevermore be tainted by your darkenss!

Tis, I'm aware, my hands shall be forever unclean, by the blood I spill to get to thee

Everything comes with a price like a Grimm's fairy tale, but a sin of loneliness changes a person overnight!
