Been waiting for what seems as weeks within forever land,

that space of thought and imagination where words are pictures,

held tight yet close and  loosely there in the palm of my hand.

Now not one idea shows itself in it's place of hide and seek,

and finding  my mind is a constant blank, I left the whole blanking system.

I sacked it and went to play in traffic, I swam with sharks,

tried parachuting while thinking as a lark, and still not one spark.

Until with a sigh, I climbed a mountain found within the heart of Central Park.

Finally, it was there that a bolt out of nowhere found me, bringing its electric light.

And it is always when you least expect it that inspiration strikes.
