Review on the Royal Wedding of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle:

This is my review on the Royal Wedding of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle that took place on Saturday 19th May 2018. The same day as the FA Cup Final between Chelsea and Manchester United.
The coverage of the Royal Wedding began at 9:25am on ITV1 which was reported by some of the ITV News reporters such as Julie Etchingham, Mary Nightingale, Charlene White and many others. As well as Good Morning Britain’s Charlotte Hawkins, and This Morning’s Phillip Schofield. They reported everything that was happening as it happened. I saw Meghan Markle and her mother Doria leave the Cliveden House Hotel and got into a Rolls-Royces car which would take her to St. George’s Chapel in Windsor Castle. As the car went through the crowded streets of London where people had been there hours before to get good views of the royal bride and they all cheered as the car drove past.
Once the guests such as US chat/talk show host Oprah Winfrey, actor George Clooney, David and Victoria Beckham, and US tennis champion Serena Williams. As well as Camilla Parker Bowles, the Queen, and Prince Phillip were seated. Prince Harry and his brother and best man Prince William who were both dressed in army attire waited for Meghan’s arrival.
When Meghan arrived at St. George’s Chapel along with her bridesmaids and pageboys and walked up the steps and walked halfway up the aisle on her own which showed that she was an independent woman. Meghan’s bridal dress was very simple and the tiara was silver and dated back to Queen Victoria’s era. Prince Charles walked Meghan the rest of the way to Prince Harry. In my opinion I believe Meghan should walked it alone without Prince Charles as if her father was well enough to attend her wedding I bet that he would not of wanted to waste this opportunity. But hey ho what can you do!
The ceremony was conducted by the Archbishop of Canterbury Justin Welby.  When Prince Harry said the vow that he will love, honour, and protect Meghan the entire congregation of the church laughed. Also Reverend Michael Curry from the US did a sermon on love which was very appropriate as all wedding are ceremonies where couples show how much they love each other. Also there was a gospel choir who sang the song “Stand By Me” and a young man who played the cello and played three pieces as Prince Harry and Meghan walked back down the aisle together now as a married couple and out of St. George’s Chapel.
Once outside the entrance of St. George’s Chapel Prince Harry and Meghan shared their first kiss. Whereas on Friday 29th of April 2011 Prince William Kate Middleton didn’t share their first kiss until they were on the balcony of Buckingham Palace after their wedding ceremony at Westminster Abbey.
Prince Harry and Meghan will be known as the Duke and Duchess of Sussex. I think Meghan will bring a new fresh vibrancy to the Royal family and she showed this on her wedding day to Prince Harry as well everyone across the globe that she is an independent woman and a feminist.
