Pretzel Logic – Deceit.

The outer circle,

words shared,

thoughts understood

between two people.

Saying things

is a dangerous game.

Never know if

it will be heard the same

as you meant,

as you intended.

But still

communication

carries on;

words

and phrases

said by one

heard by another

but do you

really understand

each other.

Understanding,

there’s

the twist

that breaks.

Your words,

taken literally,

never meant

to be.

Spins and turns,

twists

to be

deceptive,

take me for

a total ride

and stamp out

all remnants of

pride.

Should have just

gone to hide.

Twist and turn

that

pretzel

learn.

Trust,

a fool’s game,

won’t suck me in.

I said before

my walls

I’ll shore.

The lock is changed

and just to

stop

the same mistake,

this one

I will swallow.

NO ONE

will ever get their

hands

on this damn

key

and take me

for

a ride.

Pretzel logic;

communication – words spoken

meanings – interpreted, mistaken

deception – trust forever broken.
