The joys and beauty of a summer storm.

 A Summer Storm

The raining cats and dogs, the ominous dreary fog. The wildness in the air, the views that only ensnare. The chills that creep down my back. The pitter patter of rain, the rustling grass on the hill. It all can't be contained.

It shouldn't be beautiful, yet somehow it is. There's a sense of unbridled nature that could twist and turn, be wild or calm, it's too manic to understand.

There's a sense of an ancient soul that's always in control, no matter how much we may choose to deny it. It's Mother Nature, Poseidon, Gaia and Pan. It is the essence of life, that soaks anything it can. It is the joys and beauty of a summer storm, a break from the sun that reminds you what was, and what's to come.
