I hear you sing

as I slip

into a dream I sail.

Surround us

winter moon light,

as we impatiently wait

for another life.

Clear the road

upon which I'm lost ,

I can't find my way

through January fog.

child it's dark ,

you possess my strength

and your mother's heart.

Amniotic giving way

premature, arrive today .

Your welcome cries

quickly cover me,

gift of love

in silent poetry.

Nightingale sing

outside your window,

winter moon light

With steady glow.

And you have brought us

the night ,

and we take you home

in morning's light.

This is so serene , contemplating , and it sets the moment of child birth. I can picture a dark cold winter night and being awaken by a child's birth day. It's beautiful Chris. ,, I don't know how anyone couldn't like this. It's so peaceful.
