The Saint Louis Blues, who? Exactly, that's how irrelevant this team has been and likely will be for a long while to come. The only thing they had going for them in their miserable existence was the TJ Oshie Era, which is now long since over. It was truly not even very great to begin with, but at least it was something, and something is always better than nothing. TJ Oshie has finally found some success with the Washington Capitals, maybe it will last, maybe it won't.

The Blues have not had anything going for them in a long time. The TJ Oshie era was their only glimmer of hope. Now the Blues are a pathetic mess, much like a hoarder's disgusting home on an episode of "Hoarders; Buried Alive." Troy Brouwer was something, I suppose. But of course, naturally he was somewhat good for them, and the Blues decided to let him roll on to the Calgary Flames, who are 3rd world country level of sad and pitiful.

Kevin Shattenkirk was a good fit for the Blues, but he also rolled out to Washington and joined the Capitals. Naturally, Shattenkirk was a joke there in Washington, playing like dogshit, and has now joined the once great but now inconsistent horse shit New York Rangers. Now Shattenkirk will be long forgotten by anyone in Washington, or St. Louis.

The Blues could try to find another TJ Oshie, but that in itself is a hard task. The Blues will suffer, because they have nothing. They are a 3rd world country with zero infrastructure. Perhaps a goalie would be a good start for the Blues. Better yet: a good goalie and a strong skater pair. It would be a good place to start, and then go from there. Naturally it could all be for nothing if the front office fucks it up and lets anyone remotely good leave in free agency, or trade them away.
