And I submitted myself to the songs of sparrow

Because I didn’t want to think of unknown tomorrow!

I went to the garden of my home, alone

Not of the bricks, but the one with blood and no bone!

There was no sound of haters to disparage and decry

The sparrow was tranquil and so was I!

Resting my head on the tree trunk

I listened to it patiently; uncurtaining the junk!

Sitting stable, unwavering I breathed my fears in

I noticed how coward I had had been!

The sparrow observed that too and asked me why it was so

I told it all, all that was the reason of my distress and sorrow!

I began from the fear of failure

That discouraged my encouragement and set me paler!

That shapeless, formless, headless and tailless fright

Didn’t know that it could be the cause of my future, bright!

The fear that once did not let me sing

Was then seen swaying to the rhythm, the song did bring!

The fear that once didn’t let me talk in public shows

Was then seen giving me a big round of applause!

I wondered nothing can stop you do anything that you want

You just have to relax and thrust back the taunt!

I narrated all that to the sparrow with my eyes shut

It listened to me silently lying in its hut!

Slowly and gradually, I exhaled my breath

Whispering curses on my fears’ death!

I opened my eyes to the new world, where I was brave and bold

There was no fear that could hold me back and according to it mold!
