The Raven sits there in the tree Cold black eyes look down on me
Does he know of Nevermore And what became of dear Lenore?
Does he know of these strange things Of the tale his creature sings?
Doomed forever to behold The tale of Lenore that has been told.
I feel my fate soon shall come to pass Bound upon the snow covered grass
Trapped alone here and left to die Only to be watched by cold black eyes.

So eerie, this is definitely has a touch of Poe in it. I loved how you captured that eeriness, and there was a bit of a story in it too. The rhyme was also so great. I loved reading your poem.
