Take My Hand

Won’t you come and

take my hand;

we’ll take a trip

to see Dreamland,

where anything is

made from wishes,

purple skies

and flying fishes.

Hold me close,

don’t let me go,

we’ll sit and watch

the river flow.

A patch of moss,

too good to miss,

especially for that

fleeting kiss.

We’ll lay right back

and watch the stars,

no sound of people

or of cars.

A big round globe,

a silver moon;

a shame if we

should leave here soon.

And then it comes,

another day,

but here in Dreamland

I will stay.
