When you notice a shift

How do you react?

 

Do you plaster the small holes yourself and pretend 'we' kept it intact?

 

Do you speak of love,

and sing upon the trees, profusely professing uncontended misleadings?

 

Do you keep in secret your true desires?

 

Are you trying to fool yourself with forced smiles?

 

Do you reflect upon times your heart held hope-so much troppe in this facade that your mind-

 

It thinks in place of the memory; It thrusts a blinding clarity; It warps a simple tune, it cracks a perfect moon; it snakes a game out of it's impending doom and silently screams OVER before you even 

 

w i s h e d 

 

for a chance to swoon-

 

To salvage. To coincide, mix and begin to transpire- 

 

A blaze that rings true.
