While you rest in dreamless Bliss

my mind awakens as reality splits

all those things not meant to be seen

the future

encompasses me

I fight it

unwilling to know our fate

but I'm powerless in this altered state

I know your secrets

I know your demise

I know your pain

all seen through my eyes

the veil floats up on a lucid breeze

with Shaky steps

I pass between

a gift I'm told

though a curse it is

no one could ever appreciate this

the fear it brings

the guilt it spreads

when no one listens and you witness their death

and lately now

as I lye in bed

the most frightful vision

dances through my head

something is coming

there is no escape

the voices are screaming

it's just too late.
