Perfection's never known to our own eyes, Nor is the beauty that is thy own self. Lost and tricked by this world filled with lies, Trapped in this hell she can not love herself. She is tormented by her memories' pains, Painting her face with all of these tears. It's anxiety that flows through her veins. She's lost in the shadows cast by her fears. Through all of her life, she's always been told “True beauty's inside, its only skin deep” And so with this knife her wrists she will mould, But all she can find are scars that she'll keep. Her heart was broken by a world of hate, So I gave her mine, but I was too late.
