I wrote this for my daughter when she was six months old. She and I have been through a lot together, from me being pregnant with her and going through a divorce to many ups and downs in life.
Through it all her and I have grown closer - even though, we have our moments where we butt heads. She is my life, my world! Always and forever!

I sit and wonder what you think

With your big beautiful smile ~

The twinkle in your eyes

It is as if you know something

That I do not ~

You are precious, my daughter,

The true light in my life ~

Every day is new and

Full of surprises ~

Six months have gone by so fast

Soon you will walk and

Do as you will ~

You are so determined and smart

My daughter, as you grow I grow,

I used to be just a Daughter, Sister, Granddaughter and wife

Now I am the most important thing

Your mother ~ always and forever ~

Days may be hard

We will come through with flying colors ~
