I feel your ghostly touch, upon my skin,

Phantom sensations, the warmth of your breath.

A world without you, a fate worse than death,

Whispers in the wind, sound just like you.

A heart become hollow, with the absence of love,

A soul withers and dies, like a dehydrated rose.

You won’t return, no matter how much prose

I write to you, it’s a ghost that I chase.

I reach out for you, desperate for your warmth,

Instead met by the icy breath, of the morning air.

Out of my mind, sleepwalking in a living nightmare,

Unable to return to reality, in a comatose state.

Dying a thousand times, with each minute that passes,

Frostbite eating my flesh, hypothermia beings to settle.

Eternity spent chasing a ghost, a curse from the Devil,

Craving your touch, but left with phantom sensations.
