Its a third person take on a first person experience of suicide. It cuts past the pain and fear to the act of it, alone. And adds a certain artist touch to the way its described through the
characters. I hope you enjoy it.

A Beautiful Suicide

Dance with me just one more time
For memory’s own sake.
So many years have flown by
And the toll that it takes.

My friend, Rhyme, I missed you so.
Though hollow I’ve become.
Time tears away what’s brought together
Until thy heart beats no more.

Beauty seen in the glow
From the blades' flash through the night.
It cuts the flesh that threatens
To hold these cursed ribs tight.

No sound is known but a whimper
As the weak is drained to steel.
One final pull is but needed,
To ensure it will not heal.

Arms grow tired as the crimson flows,
Screaming of the end.
A smile arcs through the agony
The bones themselves unbend.

Defiant in the heat of sound,
And cold of centuries past.
Basking in the silent glow
And dark of emeralds wrath.

A wave is felt as air is cast
By the blade which falls to stone.
He stops to stare for an instant
At a heart which is his own...
