These thoughts are slowly eating me alive. It's like everything we care about leaves us alone, at some point in our lives.

Love, humanity, religion, ourselves.

Funny, right? The thought of leaving ourselves.

Everything is mixed up.

Your thoughts are jumbled and you wake up every day to go to a job you hate or a class you really don't see the need to take, but you know you have to be there. And why is that?

I have to learn the Pythagorean Theorem if I want to publish a book?

socially awkward  friend have to take a public speaking class to be an artist?

Why do we do this?

We do this because we let our minds die.

We do this because we're being controlled.

We do this because we're conditioned.

We do this because our parents told us to.

But more importantly, we don't do this because it's what we want to do.

We let ourselves be pawns in a chess game.

You're led to believe you're not top of the food chain because you question the system, but is that really true?

Take a look at some of the most successful people to ever walk this Earth.

They questioned.

They were underestimated.

They tried, and failed.

Then they tried again, and failed again, but eventually succeeded.

You're not at the bottom because you live to question the strange and unusual.

You're not at the bottom because you failed a test in class that you had no interest in.

You're not at the bottom because you're working somewhere you despise.

You're "at the bottom" because they led you to believe that the curious were inferior.

Stay curious.

Ask questions.

Be creative.

You're at the top, don't let anyone pretend you're at the bottom.
