The concept of religion and faith in God came into existence in 500 – 1800 AD. Religion is a pillar of support to mankind. The rise of religion  brought in discipline among people. Predominantly, fear of evil against good was seen as a change in the mindset of devotees to accomplish the service to mindkind made it possible to witness God through the deeds they perform. The term religion is pure with no bounds.

Religion has paved a path for 

  • Hope
  • Peace
  •  Joy

All the world religions propagate only one principle – Spread peace.

The history of religion refers to the written record of human religious experiences and ideas. This period of religious history begins with the invention of writing about5,200 years ago (3200 BCE). Religion is a frame created by us to develop values  against worldly pleasures. Each religion paves a way towards a robust foundation for devotion and fear. As human beinhgs we tend to commit sins. The mere fact is that religion acts as a shield between sin and goodness. God – Goodness of Divinity means the supreme power which guides each individual to understand the criticality of moral and immoral.

The oldest religions play a pivotal role in culminating the base for spiritual and existence of philosophy. Tao Te Ching is the holy book of Taoism. It is one of the most significant religion that promulgate the concept that makes life tranquil the entire body and soul. The religion does not believe in God rather  the community follows propagation of the religious laws through meditation, feng  Shui - orientation of things in order to bring positivity within the community is the ultimate aim of the religious.

 Din – e –llahi was a religion during the golden period of India so called Mughal rule. Akbar propounded the religion to make a revolution in the spectrum of varied religious beliefs. Akbar’s idea was to bring everyone into one single purview in place of three major religion of the world- Hinduism, Islam and Christianity. The religion faced opposition from various sects. Finally the Akbar’s court decided to announce the principles of the religion. Mohsin Fani was the author who spoke about the fundamentals of Din-i-Ilahi its principles. The laws were the key to instill deep rooted faith in God. The religion also preached about purity in life.

The Hindu Vedic text has culminated the religious dharma with numerous believes. The religion unveils several traditional practices that kindles an unshakable position in India. The closet success  is that good and evil has different deities and God. Chantings in Hinduism has deepened the concepts of religious understanding. The mantras are sacred and divine. The rituals are given utmost priority in temples, most importantly few rituals and beliefs the religion upholds amazes the other religious followers, to menityntion as an offering people spread food o n the floor to show simplicity in front of God. Brahman is the highest caste in Hinduism which dominate the entire society as the community waves high respect in the  hindu society.

Veda speaks louder in the religion. It is seen as a rule or a law in the religion. It teaches ways of living a pure and sanctified life. Sanathana Dharma is a obligation in honor of God. The Upanishad is a text of wisdom and knowledge. It deals with samsara,  karma, dharma and moksha. Samasara speaks in depth about life after death. The religion gives a understanding on the clause of Upanishad leads and teach us the mantra and benefits of sacrifice. The teachings of Hinduism is mythologically true, the sense of faith the religion upholds is huge.

 

Islam and Christianity share the same pace. In 622 Mohammed travelled from Mecca to Medina. The commencement of the journey is called Hijra and it marked the beginning of Islam calendar. The systems of Islam and Christianity pave the way for propagating faith in the religion, where in Islam states Allah as the supreme and moreover the seeks Jesus as prophet, where as at she the example for devotion and faith in God.

In Christianity, Mother Mary is highly regareded as e of Christ and  also the followers of Christ  intercede to  Jesus through Mother Mary.

Religion is a social status in society. Religion is pure but we tend to politicize faith in way of commencing political parties in favor of a cligion and caste. The social imbalance takes a toll on religious beliefs. Conversions has taken increased rate of changeover among the  faithful. According to section 295 and 298 forced conversion of religion is punishable. Religious congression have multiplied with business point of view that has plundered the entire religious convictions. As devotes of  various religions we have sole responsibility of  protecting religion from anti -religious activists. Anti religitious activists are promoters of their religion to corrupt the followers of a particular religion. The people fall a prey to enjoy the benefits they reap but unfortunately trapped into a new religion for money and lot more. Religion is path to make us disciplined in spiritual life. Athiest in global arena make up to 16% in the world population.

A survey points out that 10%  of new- born are born to non -followers of any religion. The survey states that by 2055 and 2060, 9% of babies will be born to religiously unaffiliated religion. In 2055 to 2060 36%  may be born in Muslim and 35% may be born in Christian community. Hence religion is considered as a social criteria in the world religion.

Leaders of world religion persist that religion should be propagated in spreading the good news of God. Protect religions to help the religious grow in spirituality and  particularly religious followers in spreading a religion world wide. I feel an individual should follow a religion from beginning to end  to have a in depth understanding of a religion and grow in spirituality.
