I simply tried to look to you for help.

I just wanted someone to make it go away.
A helpless, naive little girl who was afraid.
It was your friend who hurt me so deeply.
How could you be so calm and merely say
That the indecencies that were thrust upon me
Were merely provoked?
Not just once, or twice, but three!
How could you stand by and do nothing,
Only to say it happened unintentionally?
Your heart and soul are as much a diluted black void as his.
I despise you more than you can envision.
I loath your very existence.
So for the someone who left me drowning
In my eternal misery, running from the rain,
Looking for shelter from all my suffering,
Here's to you, Brother.
I hope you choke and die on your very own purgatory.
Remember the pain, wrap it around you and hold it close.
Your actions are no better than the others.
Five years of persecution you couldn't imagine.
Shame on me for thinking the world of my big brother.
For thinking he would do something to get rid of him.
A little girl who was alone, knowing no one could love her.
Hidden in my room under the covers every time you'd bring him over.
I simply tried to look to you for help.
I just wanted someone to make it go away,
A stupid twelve year old girl who was afraid.
