“You surprise me sometimes, Valis. Nothing lasts forever. The cycle of continuation is imminent. Ever-changing. If you do not reap what you sow, it will rotten, it changes, it goes away. As they dance around in their induced apathy, their soul leaves even if they remain. It always falls in on itself, despite it’s design and fixes. It’s not unnatural to want to die at some point, the inner workings will find a way. Life in the flesh was never supposed to be forever. There are realms waiting for us, and something dark wants to keep us here. They feed on our light. We call them hollows, because their souls are stuck, confined somewhere else.”
