Miles and miles of painful fails

I couldn’t see beyond the veils

till at last I came upon a tree

That I could climb to infinity

of happy vibes and empowerment

and feel the sky, the firmament

scare the crows and be scared a little

myself of climbing the down the whittle

‘d bark of the Neem tree in the garden

devoid of people and traffic wardens

I fear to see the judges pardon

my deepest fears to roam with abandon.

Hear my ramblings o great muse

Grant me your knack for dodging abuse

My nonsense verse is a fount of shame

But I choose not myself to blame
