I was trapped in a mirror

I couldn’t be clearer

I wanted to leave this place

Get back into space

A lapis Lazuli

I am trapped in a mirror

To show the past

I don’t want to have to watch

But i can’t look away

I don’t want

To have to

Replay the

I can’t run from them

You saw my reflective

Surface as  more

You removed my gem

I was free

I thought I’d stay a while

Maybe you’d teach me to smile?

I’d learn all the colours

But then the colours

Slipped away

The softness of light

The shadow

Of my fears

The  past

Shown to me

To clear

Why can’t I run?

I need to leave

I need

To go home

Home is safe

Home is ruitain

Home is..

“Not what it used to be”
