My mouth is deserted it’s so dry

I can’t see my face in these dark times

My fingers bleed from the heat and

It hurts like hell to let the breeze in

It’s not just air that comes with it

It’s guilt, and pain

And all the other things for which I am to blame

Crawling through the desert

Trying to figure out the best route

To rid myself from this earth

I need some water, this is a drought

Of epic proportions

It’s hot, it’s dark, I’m wounded and there’s

No air conditioning

No shit, you’re in the middle of the desert

It’s supposed to be hot

You’re supposed to suffer

There’s a reason you’re here

And until you figure it out

There’s a mirage over there
