Time and time again,

Despite which road I take,

At the end, I find myself alone.

Alone with a frozen smile.

And alone with a heart of stone.

But darling tell me, which body part feels the most?

Because even when I'm ice cold, made of snowflakes, all I feel around me are unforgiving blue flames,

Furiously whipping what they can't replace.

A war of eternity history won't erase.

And this, how could i begin to articulate?

So yes, I ignore all the calls, ignore my phone,

to sit all alone.

Alone with the light breeze, alone with the faithful trees,

And alone with the sea full of alone souls begging to breathe.
