All the things I said, wish I could take it back,

Unspeak the words, that left scars on your psyche.

I’ve been so shitty, haven’t treated you very nicely,

Evolving like a pokemon, trying to learn how to love you.

Mirror, Mirror on the wall, can you teach me to love

The person that you reflect, the man inside the mirror.

Overcast skies are fading, thinking so much clearer,

I realize the error of my ways, for the last twenty one years.

Hated you so much, you never were good enough,

Cause you weren’t perfect, put that pressure on you.

Treated every mistake, with such scathing criticism,

If I could go back in time, I wouldn’t be so rough.

Darkest before the dawn, and now I see that hatred

And anger isn’t the right way, I know I gotta let it go.

Our relationship status, is still set on complicated,

If you give me a chance, I can learn how to love you.
