Hungry Eyes

Hungry Eyes

No disguise, devoid of earthly whys

My bow and arrow

Aiming and letting it pierce the heart of my sparrow

The Hereafter

I’ve heard the echoes of musical laughter

Pass the Pearly Gates such joyous tears

Rain showers to earth, eradicates fears

When one’s soul has ascended, gone

Blues no longer is a welcomed song

Emotions apprehended on the run

My kingdom here, thy will be done

Wings coveting your hard essence until thy come

Man’s seeds flow as they sow

Yet, deep heartache imprints found in the snow

Angels have never been grounded as such

Soaring to the heights for an innovative tender touch

To earthly trust

To allow a beautiful thrust

To penetrate delicate wings, thy mind

Without sips of Kosher ordained wine

No silk sheets, yet, cerebral cortex sailing pass cloud nine

Kissing the stars within time

The Hereafter, as Heaven rewinds

A caress is worth more than a crown, gold, or wealth

A gentle stroke felt to an Angel wings as to slowly undress

Whirlwind romance, to enhance, my glorious given chance

God tempers the wind to the shorn lamb

Heartbeats attuned, cadence now orbiting to the same dance

Virgin desires as never met

Halo within palm of thy hand as soft lips slowly covet

Man’s sole appetite appeased once felt

Emotions captured, weakening the slip of Orion’s belt

My soul now reborn, life fades away, misfortune melts

Two whispered breaths, sacred vows broken, now stolen

To the ears, bearing gifts of Heavenly’s token

Realization for the spiritual awoken

To have and hold, more potent than the deprivation of raw passion

The bearer of thirst in a quenching fashion

Hungry Eyes
