You gave me every reason to leave,

Still I stayed

You lied when you said you loved me,

Still I was naive

And if the sky filled with clouds

and started to pour

You’d still push me outside

of your front door.

I denied them when they said

I was being used

But I was looking right at you

While being abused.

It seems every time I try

to care for someone

They turn around and take advantage of me

Like it’s no harm done.

Please - Let this be - my last day

On Earth - Alive

End my pain;

I can’t take the loneliness

That I feel inside

It’s burning into my soul

I’m ready to die.

So why - am I still here?

There’s is no hope for a girl so naive

So show me all of your storm clouds

Let it rain down

Because Darling,

I only loved you to drown.
