Status: In Progress  |  Genre: Travel  |  House: Booksie Classic

This poem is about day dreaming from the back seat of a car while on a road trip.

Fast, we zip along,

Around and up and down

The long, winding roads.

Little peeks

At lives we know not,

The best fodder

For an imaginative mind.

The possibilities,

Seemingly endless,

Continue to present

Long after we are past.

We create them lives

They’d surely envy.

If only they knew-

Could see themselves.

The perspective

Of a passerby,

Looking for distraction

From unenvious lives of their own.
