I Didn't Know Her Name

She was just there, crossing the street and I saw the car coming out of that corner so fast.
I knew she wouldn't survive if she got, so I pushed her out of the way not knowing that it would be my last.
I saved her life, but there was one death and it was the boy that pushed her out of the way of the crash.

I didn't know her name, and I didn't care cause I just knew that I had to make sure they were okay.
The last thing I remember was her eyes, so pretty and then I remember seeing the sky and hitting the ground.
Remember trying to scream out in pain when I woke up, but I wasn't able to make a sound.

There I was strapped to a hospital bed, and they had brought me back to they life they said.
I was in a coma for a long time, and there she was still by my side.
I dreamed of her, and there was some strength and she squeezed my hand and I felt it deep inside.

I didn't know her name back then, but now I do and she will never leave my side.
That day long ago she says, without you I may have died.
Now that you are awake, I know that together we will survive.
