When you fall down, do you scrape your knees?

Do you check yourself for any injuries?

Do you cry or wail, whine or pout?

Do you get angry and scream your throat out?

When darkness surrounds you, do you fret?

Do you look at your past and feel regret?

Do you become like me, and hide away

until you're well enough for the light of day?

Do you contain the emotions trapped within

Or go explosive before you collapse again?

Do the tears feel like they burn?

When all is lost do you still yearn?

Does the light seem to keep fading

when life itself seem degrading?'

The truth itself will soon be caught

Despair and suffering, all for naught

If you just sit and wallow in self pity

you'll never succeed if you can't face what's gritty.

All is never lost, all can never be found

But take what you lost, and turn it around!
