Where does one go when their own mind is a deceiver,

Purposefully disrupting its job as a subconcious receiver

Of various a transmission of celestial odds and ends

That some enlightened being picks and sends

Our minds choose to warp and rip

Every dream from tip to tip

Then refeed the message through a funnel

And force us through the endless tunnel

Deeper and deeper we tend to fall

Until we can no longer recall

The depth

And the width

Of the well

In which we fell

Up and up the stairs

Arid and decrepit air forcing an ovation from all of your hairs

Spiders crawling

A sense of falling

Anything that causes your blood to freeze

Dart your eyes around in the air,

Do you remember that man standing there?
